Micro Gopher is a
micro soil moisture sensor designed and developed to meet the needs
of irrigated crop growers where the small size of the sensor
provides a much simpler installation method of the access tubes and
ensures minimal soil disturbance and root structure damage. This
product is called the Micro-GopherŪ and has been developed as
a sister product to the GopherŪ soil moisture profiling
system. Its small size has enabled a lower cost and more affordable
soil moisture recording system to be manufactured. The volume of
soil removed for access tube installation is nearly eight (8) times
less than the standard GopherŪ access tube.
